Very cool - I've never seen mirrors like that for a full-size van. Slick!

If you look up Wild Cherry van, on youtube, the guy that found, and rebuilt the Chevy that was featured in the 1979 movie "Van Nuys" also has a replica of that Straight Arrow van.

My YouTube Channel, "Hoosier Garage" check it out (I need subs)

Ive done some work at the Detroit City Airport on Connor street over the summer.

In the Front Lockup Lot - there is a dark brown Van similar to the one's posted here with the port hole windows.
its been parked there for years someone said. Has a lic plate still on it from the 1980's from another state.
mystery is the person said nobody has claimed it so who's van? someone in Jail? or worse...

you can see part of the van on the top in this pic

Ahhhh...the days of young vivacious multiple sex partners giving you unprotected pleasure, on your diamond tufted water bed....listening to Foghat or Boston....smoking a lil mary jane afterwards, and downing a PBR....those were the days. laugh2

Too young to be in the thick of the van craze, but built some of the Revell model kits...

Here's one I spotted just over the border in North Adams, MA a couple years ago...

Knowing how many of these Vans were around in the day. The real question is where the hell did they all go? You just don't find them.
