I remember seeing 7700 FT DA at LACR in August at 3:30 PM with thunder storms nearby, it was 4400Ft. DA at 10:30 in the morning with clear blue hot skies whiney

I’d love to see consistent 4000 ft DA’s, during the summer in Acton, it’s always between 6000 to 7000 ft DA.

I remember a member on here who lived in Phoenix, AZ, he wouldn't race his car from early to mid May to late September do to the heat and humidity there, he was smarter than me work
BTW, LACR was in the high desert at 2500 Ft altitude is what I remember, it was in the south west corner of the Antelope Valley near Pear Blossom on the north side of the foot hills of the San Gabriel mountains.

Here in Vegas we would do back flips for a barometer that was 27.90

Here is a facebook link for my class on friday .
We were first out

I guess we only complain when out of our normal DA . I think Sydney is about 240 above sea level , average 1800-2200
I did add some vehicle details to the pics

In the middle of the summer sure are, but we aint racing either. My experience racing back east the last few years in the summer with GOW at 120-140 is that is a LOT easier to deal with than a lack of barometer is. Just throw some timing at it to burn off the water and we loose very little. Take away the barometer and there is nothing we can do to make up for that unfortunately.
