I picked up a set of bucket seats yesterday and am looking for verification on what type of seat tracks I have. The buckets are the 70 - early-71 style with the pot metal hinge covers.

The previous owner had them in a 69 Barracuda at one point, though they were not original to that car.

I think they maybe 70-71 A-body but I know almost nothing about A-bodies. If they are correct for 70-71s, would they have come in only the Demon/Duster body style? How about the Dart/Scamp style?

Thanks!

the "Z" shaped tracks are usually found on A-bodies, but I don't know what years used them on both sides, maybe those tracks are correct for the '69 Barracuda

are the original covers on the seats to ID their original application?

Dart (23) & Duster (29) would use the same tracks for a particular year

here's a '71 Dart passenger side seat track scope

Thanks guys! The buckets are definitely 70-style but have been reupholstered. I'll have to see if I can see any remnants underneath that would tell me what they came out of. Unfortunately, no signs of any broadcast sheets or pieces.

You'll probably see a WIW for the seat tracks pretty soon... grin

If you look real close, you can find dates of manufacture.

I should change the title of this to “70 Bucket Seat ID”. Any guesses on what these were out of based on the foam?
