Is there any difference in late model sensors and early model ones?
No I'm not asking for physical dimensions. I'm asking for volts and signal input.
I know the LS has ones with 12 volts and ones with 5 or 6 volts.

Great question, maybe ask Mopar_Rich? He seems to be an EFI master...

Mopar changed the sensors several times. I wish they would just stop doing that. i always ask to see the color of the o-ring on the sensor. that tells you what you need. I'll update the post later with what the colors mean. I'm on the road tuning today.

Is it possible to use a 58X sensor on a 32X wheel?
Lets say i want to use my Hemi 6 on a eagle engine with a carb?
I know i would need to change the relutor wheel first.

I have both sets of sensors and I believe the eagle and the 6.4 use the same sensors. I have the old sensors in my 6.4 to use a FAST XIM in stand alone mode. I have not run it yet but the old sensors and new sensors are the same size physically. I have not run the old sensors on a 58 tooth wheel but I'm getting ready to see if it works real soon.

Well old sensors and 58 tooth wheel doesn't work. I have the 2009-2012 sensor coming which is suppose to work with the FAST XIM and 58 tooth ring problem is the connector is different.

So I bought a pigtail for the 2009-2013 sensor and a 2009-2013 sensor. I spliced it in and the XIM saw the crank signal and fired up. Old sensor and new wheel will not work. And you need the sensor with the green Oring not the red oring with the 58 tooth wheel.

May I ask where you bought connectors/pigtails for the new sensors? No junk yards near me have the new vehicles and the rest only sell full harnesses at ridiculous prices. The official Mopar connector repair kit ( 05183453AC ) cost more than the sensors. At this point I'm contemplating stocking a gm metripac LSx gen IV connector in there because it looked like it will connect, or just swapping to the whole GM sensor to be rid of the price gouging.

Haven't bought any.
Planning on using the terminator x harness.
Have you tried Rock auto. Standard and others make them.
Try Holley I THINK the have them for sale.

I bought mine from Rock Auto BTW the cam and crank sensor on the newer sensors are both the same connector.

Thanks for the tip on Rock Auto, great resource. They have a lot of useful connectors cheap. Unfortunately the crank/can connector options for the newer Hemi plug is still more than the sensor itself. I'll just stick breadboard headers in there for my test stuff and plan on a GM plug or sensor+plug for my Dart update since I can work with pretty much any sensor. The Holley sensor and wiring is also very high price for what it is.
