That would depend on how you take it apart. I would measure the ride height so you can reset it and leave the upper control arms in the car. That way you don't disturb any adjustments. It's not a bad idea to have it checked afterwards though.

Resetting the ride height exact to where it was before is a big key to not loosing your current front end alignment when going out the bottom.
I'd count the turns on the torsion bar bolts if I ever have to do it to any of mine...
Typically I disconnect the lower ball joint and tie up the loaded spindles and control arms into the wheel well out of the way.

i do all of my alignments, and have for many years, because even for only $70.00, finding shops that either can't or won't dial in the specs you want, plus REALLY understand vintage vehicles, the MANY trips back and forth just to get the steering wheel straight is totally unacceptable ! this was, and still is, the situation around here. if it ain't in "the computer", [even if you ask for specs close to any late model sporty car] it CAN'T be done. now that i'm older, it's tougher than it used to be for me to do, but at least i only have myself to blame if i don't like the way my vehicles go down the road.
