Made the 4hr trek to Phoenix this weekend to partake in a two day Summit Series race. Saturday things were looking good. The car ran 10.71.....repeatedly (new best.....well for this engine). Lights were great .012, .002, but spoiled things with a -.004. Sunday was a #@%+* train wreck! .023,.008 red in test passes..... and a horrific .050 red in round 1..... I think I need light therapy. Had a bit of a tailwind so another new best of 10.69

Great weather and good times with family and a few friends. I’ve never run a Summit Series to get on a team to run the ET Finals so that’s my plan this year as the finals are at Famoso.

I was kind of surprised with the lackluster turnout this weekend. I really expected more cars for the metro Phoenix area.

I was following you on the Book. Other than the tree issues it looked like you had a good time.

I'd love to be out making passes, good or bad. Beats the hell out of snow blowing the driveway.

2 cars were there from the track in SoDak I used to run at Doug. One a snowbird that bought a place down here to winter at, the other a couple that are moving permanently. Older we get, the more I realize we’ll prob never go back north at this point.

I haven’t run points at a single track in prob 15+ years and have never participated in an ET finals. Thought maybe I’d give it a whirl! Having the finals at Famoso rather than Vegas was appealing also!
