Been thinking about getting this service this year but I thought I saw a couple of negative posts about it.

Are there a huge amounts of advertising? Who are the commentators? Is there a discount if you are a NHRA member and subscriber to National Dragster?

Any other thoughts are welcome

Do a search on ClassRacer. A number of conversations about it have been had there. It's far from being "bug" free or totally inclusive of sportsman racing. It's basically the announcing deck and video feed from a national event.

If you have time to sit and watch, it's OK, I don't. I used to listen to the audio feed from the national events when it was part of the membership package. I'd have that on all weekend and was pissed when they eliminated it and replaced it with what they have now. I do like the D1TV and DragracerTV feeds from most divisional events and will typically have them on in the shop whenever they are running one, which is most every weekend during the summer.

Plenty of other stuff to chose from, drag radial events, NMCA, PDRA which I really like - all free.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Thx guyz ... I used to be a member a long time ago - maybe it would be the plan to pull the trigger on BOTH plans at one time.

I've also been considering it for a while - mainly because all we can get here in the UK is an appalling FSN 1 hour highlights show from National events (by appalling I mean probably 15 minutes racing in a one hour show, no early rounds, telling you who actually won the event or a class before they get to the end etc etc - it's unbelievable). I know many of you guys could care less about the Pro classes, but I'm still (just!) following them.

So....is the NHRA TV coverage recorded so it can be viewed after the event (i.e. not live) and also fast forwarded to parts you want to watch (or replay), or is it only live steaming? That would be a deal breaker for me...

When the name changed from All Access to NHRA.tv it moved to a platform hosted by a division of Sony. Since then it has been much better. I just renewed by subscription for 2020 so I that says how I feel about it.

The advertisements are limited and mostly limited to what is shown at the track. So if there is a delay you may seem some ads, other times not many.

One thing to remember about Class Racer is that there as some guys with an almost unnatural hate for NHRA that will bash anything associated with the name.

I often watch it on an old and slow computer and even though I have a very fast internet connection I slow the resolution down to 720p to avoid buffering. Not a problem when I watch it on my other computers, iPad, iPhone or Apple TV.
