Was asked by a guy that has a Solid Roller Cam in his Hemi if he could use a stock fuel pump rod. I have never run anything but an Electric Fuel Pump with a Solid Roller Cam but his block you can use a fuel pump rod.. He was wondering if the fuel pump rod was compatible with the Roller Cam Shaft or if there is a fuel pump rod made just for a Solid Roller Cam.

Is there such a thing as a fuel rod for a solid roller and were would I tell him to get one. Never looked into this always just closed it off with a block off plate and ran a electric pump that could keep up with the fuel volume I needed.

It looks like there is a fuel push rod for a Steel Solid Roller Cam Shaft. Thanks

Comp makes one for B/RB engines. P/N 4646, has a bronze tip on one end.

Howards makes one.

I've used it with my roller cam in the 505 and have over 7,000 miles on it.

I had read bad reviews on the Comp one but they "disappeared" from Summit's website...
