Allied EH23. I can only find one source for a repair kit which appears to be an O-ring & a bushing they call a "u-cup". Just shy of $28 shipped. Any luck sourcing just an O-ring from a parts house or hardware store? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and pay the ransom? Tim

At $28.00 you're halfway to the cost of a new jack from Harbor Freight. Why bother tearing it apart and hoping you can fix it? I have a bottle jack on my engine hoist that quit working. I thought about fixing it myself like you, but why go through the hassle when you can get a new one fairly cheap? These cylinders usually have a tube that the ram seals to. The tube baloons and that is why it leaks. No amount of resealing will fix this. Buy the 8 ton unit instead of the 3 ton and you should be set for awhile.
