We are doing a disc brake conversion on this car. The plan is to put steelies on it with poverty caps. The car has SS springs. I would like to put a 15x8 inch wheel, 4.5 backspace, on the rear.It seems that a 275.60 15 tire should fit fine. I have a set of 15x6.5" steelies that I would like to use on the front.
What tire size do you guys recommend for the front and do you guys have any pictures of your combinations?
Thanks

Here's what I would like to do...
Front
235.60 15 on 6.5x15" wheel, 4.5" backspace
Rear
275.60 15 on 8x15" wheel, 4.5" backspace
I'm fairly certain that the rear will fit fine, will the 235.60 have any rubbing problems up front?
Thanks

my one buddy used a 205-60-15 on a 7" rim with a 4 1/2"bs for a 72 duster with a factory disc conversion. the car is lowered a bit with the torsion bars, and the 205's clear by about 3/8" on the front, lower wheel opening. that size tire fills the opening very well. i don't know if a 70 duster has the same shaped opening or not, and i don't know how much taller a 235 would be.
