I received my new cam belt drive from Australian Muscle Parts this morning. I had been using their earlier version & had been in communications with Mike for some time, & today the new one arrived. It's kinda similar to the last one but all the bearings n seals are std items you can buy over the counter. I'm happy with it, just need to wait for the new alloy block now.

What was the pricing on it? I was going to buy one a few years back but they had stopped making them.

Sorry I dont know what they are retailing for, I got a special deal off Mike as him n I have been communicating for quite some time over the upgrades to have them more user friendly parts wise over the originals. He has a smallblock version available now too.

Todd at Marsh Performance told me the price would be $1,250 for a nine inch deck R3 small block. He should have some soon but would not commit to selling any until he has looked them over completely.

$1500 Aus is about $1032 US. That seems to be in the ballpark I've seen for these. I'm surprised they are that expensive, because there isn't that much to them. Low demand I guess.

I am going to try one of these on my red car when we switch it to Ti valves. I like the Jesel stuff however it would be nice to have a cover available. The idler seems like a great idea too.

The Australian one has a mounting hole for a distributor or fuel pump drive on the front face, pretty trick if you ask me.

Not sure what it looks like as it and a lot of my other parts are still sitting with FHO waiting to see if Stage V can produce a decent set of heads.
