The time has finally come to replace my batteries, any suggestions as to which brand? Based upon my limited research I’m leaning towards Interstate.

I went though my second set of Optima red tops a little over a year ago in my 01.... last time I bought them they were $114 ea.... Now they’re $230. I’m currently trying some Duracell AGM batts from sams club. I couldn’t bring myself to spend $500 for a pair of batteries.

I will say my battery cables and ends look factory new. I’ve cleaned and repaired so many corroded up messes from wet batteries I’ll always go AGM in my pickup.

Those Duracell AGM batteries from Sams are awesome. (I have them in my daily driver & my wife's daily driver & the Duster)

The top tier battery currently right now is an Odyssey (Its what I have in my Coronet R/T)

I’ll look into the group 65.

Thanks

Just replaced my driver side battery with a Motocraft. Had the best warranty. The battery had a crack around the positive post. I was changing out the negative cable on the passenger side battery and it too had a crack. The environment here in Phoenix is really hard on batterys.
