D_C OP pro stock Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,373 Rancho Cucamonga, CA	Hello, Is there any way to tell from the manufacturers tag/VIN tag, which model (Base, Renegade, Levi’s, etc) that a particular 1979 or 1975 Jeep CJ5 was built/sold as? I have owned both Jeeps for many years, but never saw them in “original” as-sold condition. They had both been repainted, etc. Thanks Last edited by D_C; 12/14/19 02:41 AM.
