Standard big block oil pump. Looks like a sealed power number maybe.

Thanks for reply, but not what I was hoping to hear, thought maybe it was a high volume aftermarket oil pump
Thanks,

Rob

How thick is the body of the pump between the engine and the outer piece? High volume pumps are noticeably thicker then stock. Your picture doesn't show that part, In most cases a high volume pump isn't necessary. Why do you think you need it?

It looks thicker than stock but I'm not certain. You might want to post this in the race section. Those guys are really good at this.

HV pump, the newer HV pumps come with a high pressure spring, you have a stock type pump.

If you're running a stock oil pan and your oil clearances aren't on the loose side, then a stock type pump is what you want.

Standard pump would be fine for that set up. No need to take it off. You can tell by the difference in measurements that you have a standard pump.

The thickness of the pump body is how you tell if it's a high volume pump or not. Your pump appears to be about 1/4" shorter than the HV pump pictured above, so yours would be a standard volume pump.
Like I said, not a bad thing and it's likely all it needs.

And it does not look like a new pan.

Stock "nothin' fancy" replacement pan - not even a larger capacity "hemi" pan. The last guy just cheaped out, don't expect to find any bonuses in this motor.

971 came with baffles front and rear, 5 quarts plus filter nominal fill, to my way of thinking that's actually not a
horribly bad street performance kind of a piece.

The pump just looks like a stock piece but that's okay, if this is a stock-ish kind of a build I'd add a windage tray
and that's about it,

As far as oil pumps,I've had this one a "long" time, ask before and never got a legitimate an answer.New in Chrysler box,I'd have to look but if I remember correctly, part number starts at 25 something, never could find any reference to the number. The M63 on the pump is also on the box shruggy
