Sorry if this has been asked before. I've searched the Edelbrock site and this forum but still need some clarification.

What would be a good pair of Edelbrock carbs to run on a 440 with mildly ported Edelbrock E Street 84cc heads, a Weiand tunnel ram, and .534 238 @ .050 hydraulic cam?

I have a pair of Holley 1850 va. secondary 600s I could try but from what I've been reading it sounds like I might have better luck with a pair of Edelbrocks.

This is in a 3600 pound '67 Satellite street car that I like to take to the track a few times a year. Thanks!

Make sure and tie the two vacuum pod together so they both open the same , call Holley tech for the part number scope up
As far as the current batch of Eddy carbs don't buy any of the emission ones of any size for your deal twocents Buy the 750 performance ones if you decide after trying the Holleys you want more air flow work twocents
Make sure and run the throttle linkage one to one, no progressive linkage on a tunnel ramtsk

Try the 1850 carbs since you have them. They'll probably run horrible but at least it is a starting point. If you decide to go with Edelbrock carbs pick up a pair of the 500 cfm. Be sure to buy the ones that are calibrated for dual carb use. They should be plug and play on an engine like that.

I'd send sixpackgut (Ray) here a PM and ask him about it. He won his class at drag week a couple times I think. He ran a pair of Edelbrocks w/ a Weiand t-ram on an Indy headed 493" that ran mid 9s in his cuda. It ran REALLY good.

If you have ever considered running E85, I have a matched pair that I ran on a mod man intake. I can't run them on my new combo. I would make you a awesome deal on them. They designed just for e85.

I ran two 600 carters on an iron head 340 with the weiand tunnel ram. ran perfect. That was back when I was in my late teen's early 20's with little tuning experience Fired right to an idle and never bogged. Ran 11.60's in a 71 Dart. I wouldn't hesitate to run 600's or 750's on a bigblock.
