I got 3 years for $18 bucks and they threw in a free clock, so it was an easy decision for me.

I did the same thing. The clock had a Camaro on it so I gave it to a buddy of mine who is a Chevy fan.

It seems that a lot of the articles written as mopar "tech" are in reality nothing more than infomercials. Not much tech but a lot of advertisement.

Until about eight years ago I bow hunted a lot, my shoulder surgery ended that. I subscribed to one of the bowhunting magazines for several years. Then one day I counted the pages of ad's, the magazine was IIRC 92 pages counting the covers and had almost 40 full pages of ad's. I didn't renew when my subscription was up. I understand that ads pay for a large portion of the magazine but really, over 1/3 was ads.

I remember around 1999ish counting tha pages of pure advertising in Hot Rod magazine and being surprised. Then adding in the tech articles that are really commercials it was really bad. But now the ads and sposored articles are bludgeoning and excruciating.

I just read that on Freiburgers Instagram page. Over a dozen magazine titles will no longer be printed.

They are in print, which is what the thread was about.

That's why I said "to be clear."

"Discontinued" suggests the title has folded, which is not quite true.

Dang, that sucks; I don't read stuff on my phone except texts.
AutoWeek just did the same thing.
The magazine format is superior for many reasons, not the least is being user-friendly anywhere.
I won't hold my breath waiting for subscription refunds, and I'm wondering if I should renew any of my other subscriptions.

Wait till January and see if they make any new announcements. It remains to be seen how they will carry through the other titles.

Heck, its only $7/yr. catfight

I spend more then that here fighting infolinks. stirthepot

My Ghostery app does not always block infolinks anymore. For the price the subscription is a good deal. Plus its nice at times to read from something that does not require a connection and electricity.
