Hemidavey OP super stock H Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 1,014 Howell, Michigan	Has anyone tried these on an A- body? I bought a set and they appear too short. I assembled a stock bar with bushings and washers compared it to the Hotchkis bar and there will be only 1/4" thread engagement on 5/8' threaded Heim joint. I would assume 3/4' thread engagement would be more appropriate. Last year I put a set on a B-body and they fit very well. Thanks

J Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 22,695 Bitopia	Bars are under tension under the most critical driving load conditions, braking, normal rule of thumb, steel to steel is anything more then 1 diameter thread engagement, so yes, 1/4" does not cut it. Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

They just moved facilities, and I've been waiting three months for a sway bar that I was promised in September. They may have packages the wrong item in a rush to fill backorders.
