Are the "R/T" emblems supposed to be flat profile or have an angle cut to them to angle them upward ? The repo stick-ons are flat, the post style are angled.. Confused to what would be more correct.

Which R/T emblem are you talking about?

A tail stripe or stripe delete car has 4 R/T badges.

Sorry I was not more clear, I am referring to the fender emblems.

I could not find any casting numbers. This is reproduction anyway but was listed for 70 challenger from Year one. I would rather have the post style on the front fenders but it seems like the flat style stick-on is more correct ?

Very early 1970 Challenger fender RT was pin on and quickly went to stick on.

Thanks for the reply. I'm getting the impression the reproduction pin style ones I got are just not correct.

That is absolutely not true!

I have a 1970 Challenger R/T 440 SIXPACK N96 car with V9X which means it gets the R/T metal badges with 2 pins.

The car is ALL original metal and mostly original paint. It has an SPD of 723 (7/23/1970) so it's hard to get much later than that and since it is a Shaker car the chances are there was no way it was built super early.

The original badges, which are still on it, are held on with acorn (pal) nuts.

The ones you have are incorrect. However the stick on type would absolutely be wrong for 1970.

The badge you are looking for is flat and the pin diameter is smaller.
