Somethings rattling inside and my light doesn't work from the white wire. 3 nuts on back and theres 2 baby screws holding the playback on the front glass. bezel turns but doesn't want to come off. Really don't want to ship it back to Autometer if I don't have to. Do quite a bit of night racing and need the light to see. Its a Autometer silver light playback tach. You should just send it back. Sent mine back for a check up because it was acting weird and it was junk.

Did they fix it or just tell you it was junk? It was old enough that it wasn't worth fixing, so Auto Meter made me a smoking deal on a new one. Should be here after Thanksgiving.

I think I saw it on How Its Made, or a YouTube video, but the outer ring on the glass face is rolled and crimped to the body. There is probably a special tool to uncrimp the face dial ring.
