This shouldnt be that difficult but I've bought a few hoses now and none of them will work to replace the leaking hose.

Does anyone have a part number for this power steering hose? All the ones listed on RockAuto have different ends.

Thanks Guys!!!

Yeah - I think that may have been one of the ones that we tried

If you look close - It has different ends on it.

I'm not sure what the previous owner used for this hose?

I think I need one of these adapters for the new hose - Mopar Saginaw Power Steering Fitting Adapter 5/8"-18 To -6A.

Does that sound right?

What end not fitting? I assume the end into the steering gear. Does the steering gear have an adapter on it? That is a separate part.

The bottom picture looks right to me. I just bought one from O’riellys for a customer. That fitting stays in the pump normally. Looks like you are missing that fitting. I have an NOS 70 a body hose that looks like it has the same ends as the one you currently have. Maybe they don’t use the fitting in the pump.

That fitting is part of the steering gear assembly. It is installed using a small brass/copper washer to seal against steering gear. Make sure you have the correct washer. I have some of them.... if you are needing one PM me. Joe

Is it a original mopar hose? If so, it should have numbers stamped in the metal end. It kinda looks like a 2891730.

No clue if its original. We bought the car last year and have spent the past year undoing lots of duckery. The only numbers I can find are 336-1005a and 322-0.

It sure look like the one you posted though https://www.ebay.com/itm/for-MOPAR-...aw-A-B-C-E-Body-318-340-440/323859825824

Awesome!!!

You might go to rock auto or the local parts store and check the hose for the applications listed on the ebay ad

I just did and they have the end your looking for from several sources a lot cheaper whistling

ROCK AUTO LINK WITH PIC"S

It would appear the root cause is probably the wrong pump from a later model
