At least everybody got their chance to express their feelings for hopefully his benefit, while the end was approaching. up

Not often does life offer that.

There is a message here..

RIP

When it's your time, it's your time. But dammit, I was hoping to have one more drink with him at the MPM Clubhouse. Rest easy, Stu, and thanks for a great Thanksgiving.

Rest in peace Stu. I enjoyed chatting with him and will really miss him. When I heard he was sick and mentioned wanting to meet Danny from Count's Kustoms, I sent an email off to every email address I could find for them as well as their Instagram. Unfortunately, I didn't get very far with it. I'm sorry I couldn't make it happen buddy......rest easy. whiney cry angel

When I read the other day that hospice was at his home I knew the time was near. Condolences to his family.
I had the pleasure of being his secret santa one year and also spoke to him on the phone as he was giving me some advice on my garage door.
He will definitely be missed on moparts angel

Incredibly well said Jim. He was one of those people you were fortunate to cross paths with. It didn't matter how long or how well he knew you. He was equally gracious to all. I was only in his neck of the woods one time (out in SF from Wisconsin) and he took time out of his day to pick me up at the BART station to take me cruising in the road runner. His wife was clearly used to the frequent car buff company that he was surrounded by as she made us a great thanksgiving dinner and shared time and stories in the Stu man cave.

RIP Stu!

Stu was one of the first people to welcome me to this site when I joined back in 1997. Like everyone else, I'm gonna miss his sense of humor, and how welcoming he was to anyone who wanted to stop by to see him when they visited his area. Stu helped me more than once with my garage door, and he is one of a few here who's number is in my phone. R.I.P. Stu, and thanks for being a friend. angel

RIP Stu, always a great guy with a big friendly personality and a pleasure to read his post and welcoming spirit to all on this board. His Mid-Pen Reference confused many regarding his location, I always found that amusing :-) drive I always looked forward to his event coverage over the years.

Prayers and best wishes to his family for their loss, even more difficult this close to the Holidays. Godspeed.
