now c'mon you guys ! hobo fright has those incredible blue oval flashlites that are fantastic ! and i pick up one FREE every chance i get close by buying the cheapest thing i can find, like those pick sets for 1.99 [even though they are only worth about 39 cents.] now i got a great opportunity to get a bucket to put my flashlites and junk picks in. Not unless you buy $24.99 worth of picks and flashlights. (Read the small print.) I could pick up 3 or 4 buckets on the roadside almost every day. Tim

I think they should supply customers with a free bucket so they can carry most of the crap to the dump when it breaks. You can say what you will, I threw away my snap on ratchets that kept breaking years ago for Pittsburgh ratchets and I have yet to break 1 Single ratchet in 6 or 7 years. And I use them on a daily basis at work. I do have a snap on impact still but that's only because of the warranty. I bet I replaced or had to rebuild my snap on ratchets 4 or 5 times each year. I don't have that problem with the cheap harbor freight ratchets.

I watch several channels owned by shop owners and I see the Daytona jack in many of them. Snap On for many of their tools have priced themselves out of the market. A shop owner said twenty plus years ago a tech was judged not necessarily by his skills but by the brand tools in his box. Now its not like that.

HF tool boxes are a great value. I know several people who have them and love them, and they saved a small to medium-sized fortune by going with HF.
I have their aluminum floor jack, a bottle jack, a ton of hand tools, and more of their freebies than I can count. Never had an issue with anything from HF. A great way to put together an inexpensive tool kit for inside the house, or to carry in the car, etc. I am one of those HF tool box owners. I will admit my buddy's Snap On box has better drawer slides, but for 1/10th the cost, even he was impressed. I typically go there for the single use tools too. Needed an O2 sensor socket for my daughter's Flex. Cheapest I could find in stock anywhere local was $40. HF? $7.99. Guess what, I've used it twice with no issues. Would I buy a lathe or other large piece of equipment there? Probably not. But they definitely serve their purpose well.

A new store is being built in the town I work. Due to open in November '20. Closest one is an hour away. It will be a happy day when I can pop in any time.

I buy quite a bit of stuff from HF now. I use some of it every day at work and have very little trouble. If it breaks they always replace it no questions asked.

HF sells the type of tools that women buy to keep in a kitchen drawer but they also have their own brand of higher quality tools and those are excellent for the do it your selfer and even many professionals. The ratchet from them for $1.59 is crap but their $15 ratchet is excellent.
