I picked up a very rusty 68 Satellite to play with. It is a very base slant 6, auto and radio delete car. And it has what appear to be factory 15" wheels. Is that unusual on a 'stripper'? They are body color and given their condition, certainly look original to the car. I would have thought that the wheels would be 14"s. No big deal, just curious about it.

I think trailer tow pkg came with 15" wheels but somehow doubt that was avail on a slant six car.

These cars are getting old, so anythings possibly added in that time frame

is it a cop car or taxi? if original to the car they would be the same as a HEMI car

does it have a fender tag, tires are listed on bottom line, what's the car's Shipping Order Number?

14" factory wheels sounds more like it. I knew that 15" on a stripper was weird. But they are body color and rusty like the rest of the car, so it got them a long time ago.

stampings by the valve stem

After closer inspection, it looks like there 3 of one style wheel and 1 of another style. I didn't see any stampings by the stem.

those are wheels from the mid-'70s

the K2/5 stamp would be Kelsey Hayes, plant #2, 1975

Kinda surprising how the paint looks right.
