Are LMC body panels any good or do they rust if you look at them funny? My Dad is working in Texas right now and offered to grab me a pair of OEM fenders from a yard. Will probably have to deal with the typical dings and dents, but they'll be clean factory steel. Just wondering what the better option will be. Looks like the price between LMC and boneyard fenders isn't enough to worry about. Thanks...

get factory if you can unless they are overpriced. My driver's fender and front bumper on my '81 are LMC. Fit and look fine. Insurance bought'm after I got hit by a drunk driver.

Get the OEM ones - always better to have rust free originals if you can get them
