big block or small block ? i am trying to find an affordable [to me] used big block unit. I am looking for the same, with the US/Canuck exchange rate, its a pretty hefty price. If I can't find one, I'm working on a jig to aid in welding on a b/rb bellhousing onto a 46rh, I don't require the SFI rating for my project.

Anyone here use the J.W. 727 SFI Ultra-Bell housing?
Wondering is it is worth the effort and $$ When we bought the Daytona a trans shield wouldn't fit the tunnel without some major work. We installed the JW bell and it worked perfect! We have since changed to a Glide so I have the bell for sale (haven't advertised it yet). I think there is one more season on the cert (I will have to check)

Any info on how that one worked out? There was a guy that started doing this in the northwest back in the early 90’s, somewhere around Seattle.
