As another example of a 1970 Hamtramck car, my 1970 Valiant shows an early April SPD, yet a March door sticker.

So for whatever reason it was completed earlier than hoped for.

I wish in this case the car was left in it's original color. The door sticker would still have been present in all likely hood. I have read that door stickers can be ordered for replacement but would you need a Broadcast sheet for accuracy?
Thanks

the small amount of info I have shows 417 "scheduled" 1970 Hamtramck E-bodies

"In Plant/In Process" as EARLY as 4/16 & as LATE as 4/23

being the middle of the month, or unless you have a lot of date or other evidence of the car being built more than 2 weeks early or late, a "4 - 70" door sticker would be your best bet

I think there was a post for a Cuda aar damaged in a fire. He decided to restore it in large part because his car was one of four to be built after 417.. Not sure if this was on his Tag, I'm guessing it was.The Fender tag on my car is 417 so like you say the tags and the actual build varies.

I've come in and out of the site a few times, and am not a online Junky.. not that I wouldn't like to be at times but always busy. So I apologize if I seems as though I'm using the site just for my own benefit.
I have a question how ever about getting a Door sticker reproduced. Is this a No No if you have some of the documentation of the car meaning Fender Tag, pictures of the Body vin's ect..? I have been on the MMC site and I know they reproduce the Fender tags, but not sure about Door tag. Do you need the Broadcast sheet or is there anything they can do otherwise.
Thanks

ECS as mentioned repops the door sticker. I believe you just need to provide the actual VIN and have proof; IE - vehicle reg. copy of title etc. There's no options codes on the door tag, so no need for a b cast sheet.

My Challenger T/A was also damaged in a fire and is also one of the last produced with an SPD of 421. Those of us with late build Trans Am cars need to be careful with flames! smile
