4 different "reds" available from 1968 - 1970 on Charger

1968 *** PP1 = "RED"
1968 *** 331 = "BRIGHT RED" ( spring special on '68 Charger became R4 for '69 )
1969 *** R4 = "BRIGHT RED"
1969 *** R6 = "RED"
1970 *** FE5 = BRIGHT RED"

in order below

Don't do it, gold is a beautiful color and too many people change it. Your car looks great other than that funny looking front bumper. grin

Careful, your character's showing!

It is certainly your car to do as you wish. I lusted over a gold Charger that was parked in a driveway every day as I walked to high school wishing it were mine, rotted quarters and all.
Your car is beautiful.

Funny thing is I bought the car because the body is so nice. So I bought it to do an easy repaint. But the Gold is growing on me. It needs a trunk floor and engine bay repaint. On top of that the driver door is a tad off color from a repair in the 80s. So a repaint is in order.

The mirrors will go but the front bumper will stay lol! Decisions decisions.

Also has the original vinyl top. I’ve heard they can last if taken care off. I’m amazed at how nice it is.

I'd say if your going red, do something more "modern" in the red hues rather than the factory reds, as they are rather "pale", personally I think black would look killer on that 70

I'm for keeping the gold, it's a rarer and thus a more memorable color.

This from a guy who has two EV2 cars, one an original EV2
and one green.

My 2 cents...Joe

I thought of black, but my Cuda was black and tough to clean at the shows. But it would look purdy.

I would put a black tail stripe on it,and black out the hood impressions, and put some chrome 70 racing mirrors on it.
