Is there a vented gas cap that fits a 71 Charger and doesn't leak under acceleration?

Isn't the filler on a 71 Charger behind the license plate? I thought most low filler necks used non-vented caps to keep fuel from leaking out under hard acceleration. There should be a vent tube on the fuel tank itself.

That's true but in my non-stock application, I want a vented cap. Tried one of these but still get a vacuum when I remove it.

1971 B Body was Chrysler’s early attempt at emission control

There is a vapor separator inside the drivers side rear wheel well - Four hoses for venting run off the drivers side of the gas tank to this vapor separator

Then there is a fifth nipple off the vapor separator that runs all the way to the passenger side three nipple breather on the valve cover of engine

The factory gas cap was pressure vacuum or so called

The pressure vacuum gas cap is designed to vent small amounts of air into the car gas tank . The vented gas cap has a one-way release valve that is pressure-activated. When the pressure reaches a certain point (defined by so many pounds per square inch) the valve opens by a very small amount, relieving some of the pressure by allowing air into the gas tank , not out into the atmosphere

Drill a very tiny hole

Or do like I did and take one of the cheap stants that everyone sells , drill thru the inside plastic vent hole , and basically remove the seals and spring without drilling all the way through

But either way under hard acceleration
