Last ride in the Barracuda with the awesome 1100 thumper carb. Its as docile on the street as a 4150. If you can read the wide band it cruises at 13.5-14 AFR and 12.8-13.2, lets just say 13.0 wide open. This run was on 100% Sunoco pump 93 ultimate. The under performing mw victors I speak of make power, just not the power I had expected. If you can see the speedo as I drop it down in 2nd when I was on the freeway, it goes from 60 to 110mph in 5 seconds. Not sure if that is good or bad, but it sure is fun. Very fun car to drive on the street, heck, it even goes straight while it's blowing the tires off thru 1st and 2nd. Maybe some of you can watch the vid and see something wrong somewhere i'm not noticing with the engine or the car.
Sorry for the blurry vid. My camera created a very clear vid, but once upload to youtube it became blurry. Also I apologize for the distorted audio. The car is loud, just the way I like it.
Hope you enjoy the video.
Dwayne, I'll get the springs off this week.

My plan is more compression "12.5:1" and a solid roller or at least a more aggressive SFT. Bullet spec'd me a SFT 266@50 293@.020 same lift and on a 111, but said they could put it on a 108 if I didn't care about vacuum and I don't. That spec was with my current 11.25:1 compression if i were to do just the cam swap. I have been told buy some in the know that these heads really respond to angle milling, but I think all heads do. I have thought maybe also getting a new valve job and a 2.25 valve with it. A lot of options, but I will try to keep this as economical as I can for now. If I go solid roller, i'm looking at a 276/281-.680/.660 on a 108 with 312 adv I think. Sounds like a mild lobe, not too hard on springs or lifters. With a race car you drive on the street it's a balancing act as you know.

12:5:1 is on the edge of pump gas I would think and be carefull with the timing.

I figured maybe a 50 50 mix at 12.5. Some get away with pump gas with 12:1. I have been adding a gallon or 2 of 110 to my pump gas all summer just because I cant stand the smell of straight pump gas. I also tried the Renegade 98 oxygen aided unleaded.
