Did you write "If undeliverable - return to sender" on the envelope ??? If not, maybe its your fault !
The whole thing is my fault, in trusting others to be somewhat competent, and to do the right thing.
The original letter demand was sent USPS "OVERNight", with return address listed, insured, at a cost of around $26.
I assumed that would imply that i wanted it back if it wasn't delivered for some reason.
The whole affair is almost funny at this point from its almost "perfect storm" scenario, especially due the fact, I still don't have the letter back, because, maybe it got lost in the approaching tropical storm, there was a wasp in my mail box, somebody used my recently lost DL to fraudulently re route my mail, etc.
