St Louis Blues players took possession of the Plymouth Barracuda cars that were loaned by Chrysler corporation on October 10 1969.

First time I've heard they had the name of a player but then again, I'm not an e body fan. Where was the name and do the remaining cars still show them?

The players probably would have been excited if the cars had been CUDAS!

Guys didn't make big money then like they do now. They were probably happy to have a free car to tote around in even if it was only for a while.

IIRC most of them were 318 cars, but a couple guys got 383's.

I assume those old dudes with the cars were from the area dealerships that provided the cars.
As stated it would have been nice to see a picture with a players name on the car.
The names were likely removed from the cars when they went back to the dealer.
I wonder if any player ever actually bought and owned one , or if any slipped into Canada after the season ended.
There were 29 players on that 69-70 St Louis Stanley Cup final team, 28 Canadians, and one from Finland.
