Stu, I hope you get to read this. There is something I want to say before you "run down the curtain and join the choir invisible."

You, sir, have been the one constant on Moparts.com that has been full of positivity and good cheer.

I have been a member of Moparts since the late nineties. I have seen the best and worst of this site. For all of its ups and downs, your presence has never failed to put a smile on my face.

I have always admired your ability to roll with the punches and your ability to deal with the good and bad that life hands you by strapping on a viking helmet and picking up a beer mug. I have not yet seen a post from someone who happened to be in your neighborhood that didn't relate in glowing terms your hospitality and good humor.

Some people change the world by doing one big thing...

Others change the world by doing countless small things with love and good humor. Everyone that you came into contact with (either in person or through this site) can attest that the world is a better, happier place because you passed through spreading smiles.

As for me, I can count you among the people who I try to emulate in my daily life. When I leave a room, I want people to be happier than when I entered, and when things go sideways, I try to remember that there is nothing so bad (well...maybe ONE thing) that friends, beer, and a viking helmet can't soften the edges on.

So Stu, just know I'm gonna pour one out for you and try to live my life by your example. Thank you for making me a better person.

Godspeed, friend. May heaven have pinball!

I've been gone for years, then I come back and the first time I look at the General forum, I find this. It really stinks.

I hope you're at peace Stu, and that the next phase is exactly what you hoped it would be.

Stu teaches people about patience, hospitality, garage doors, and many other things. Stu has taught me how to be a father to daughters by his example of unconditional love and support - I'll be forever grateful, as will my girls who have never met him but whose lives are better because of him. Thank you, Stu.

I think Stu and his wife Sally would really appreciate receiving some cards and whatever from his many friends all across the world since I'm not sure if he is getting on the computer.. His address is below if you would like to do so.

I would not put their address here unless you talk to his wife first.

I don't get on here much, and this just saddens me. I hope the best for you, Stu. I've shared so many laughs with you over the years. good luck

Awww, man....
I met you one time at the Van Nuys Spring Fling. My Brother In Law and I go there every year and he told me that you rarely make it down there. I remember your Road Runner and the crowd of people that seemed to be around you every time that I looked.
Terrible news, man.
I wish that I had something more interesting to say. You seemed to have a positive effect on the members here from what I can see.

I I am at a loss for words, I've been off of the site for a while and come and look around a little bit here and there, and I was just told today about situation with Stu. I meant Stu a couple of times at the aloney college show, and what a super straight-up guy, I'm very sad to see what's happening to this man I call friend. I hope that in these times that you're not suffering, and that you find peace. There are a lot of people out here that don't understand what's going on self included, but you'll always be here with us and you'll always have left an impression on everybody you've met. To the rest of the family, my sincerest sympathy and condolences go out to you this is a very tough time for you as well, once again I'm at a loss for words. Something to make me smile I guess in these times, will be the thought of bacon fest at the car show. Always Mopar!
