Hey Guy/s had to post. Just got home from the track. The air was perfect and I went a new best. 1.43 60' time and a 6.54 @104.8 . Not fast like a bunch of you guys but I am happy with this old fat street car.. Just had to share..

Thanks again. I just pulled the intake off because it was leaking really bad. Hopefully with another jet change and some cooler weather I can get me a 40 out of the old girl..

Especially when its a small block. That funny because I was in the lanes with race cars all around and I actually had a guy ask me if I was in the wrong lanes. I said no and he asked me what engine I had in the car. I said a 318 " it is a 318 X block" and he just looked like I had lost my mind. He pulled up beside me with his race truck and he ran a 6.84 to my 6.57 on my second run..

I had a similar experience several years ago when the 408 was in my street/strip Dart. My car had ran 6.57 @ 104 and change twice in the time trial runs so I dialed it 6.57. There was a guy with a big tired Camaro with a full cage, aluminum interior and a big block pitted a few cars over. I saw him looking my way when I put the dial on the car. A few minutes later he walked over and looked at my car (hood was up) and saw the small block, shook his head and walked off, lol. I looked and he was dialed 6.80. Congrats on the new best, nice pass.

Sure , time slips or the car ?? I have not took many of the car this year but it was in Mopar Muscle Mag in April.. Hear are a couple from the other night. Pay no attention to the awful red lights. LOL
