Is that the little red on? I have several I can check for you if so I have several MSD race coils from the early Mallory to one of the newer transformer type

Are you measuring across the + to the - post on the coil or measuring from + to the coil output, post and from the - to the coil output post ?

I'm using a Fluke 87 meter and I got .820 K ohm from the - to the coil output, .819K from the + to the coil post and .3K (300 ohms)from the - to the+ posts at 32 degrees F in my car trailer.
