Its been a long time since I have had to decode a Lynch Road fender tag and am extremely rusty. I am looking at a car that is on Ebay...its a 69 RR Hemi car. If anyone knows anything about this car....shoot me a message. It's in the Houston area.
OK here is the tag from top to bottom...I have most figured out but it would be good to get input from board to weigh in just in case I missed something.

I saw your post and afraid I'm not all that good with Lynch road tags myself. besides the basics .
But saw the car in question. Nice looking car for the money

Yeah, the 69-up Lynch Road tags realcrazy
The obvious stuff - colors, Hemi. 727, interior, Air Grabber, radiator (redundant info with Hemi), VIN - is there.
But the top 2 rows always lead me to Allpar & Google to figure out.
Some options will be a mystery without a Broadcast Sheet on a Lynch car.
Looks like a very nice car in the ad, sounds like the guy did the best he could and is being honest about the car.
(If you've ever bought a car from a lying jerk, that's worth something right there)
I don't see much "wrong" except missing the seat medallions and the fully painted underbody.
I don't see where he has a reserve, just 1 bid @ 75K.

if the 13K miles are to be believed - I'd bet hard dragstrip miles

that's the wrong interior it is a "cheap seats" Road Runner coupe M2B, installed is the "décor group" A87 interior H2B
a couple additional items - it is missing its power disc brakes and the associated AIR GRABBER duct & the tires should be POLYGLAS
hood stripes added

Curious...was power brakes std equipment? How do u know its missing?
Agree on the drag racing...he mentions that in the ad. I think the V21 stripes were added during resto.

Beautiful car but from the pictures I'm suspect of the right 1/4 panel. Doesn't have same contour at the door only one tab at bottom and the sound deadner pattern???

Good catch on the Decor interior, I totally blew that.
Sure enough, no B-pillar stainless cap.
Interesting GG has it as H2B on his form.
And yup, 4.10 Dana cars had PDB as far as I know, another sharp catch; likely removed for the drags.
The sound deadener pattern on the quarters IS different from normal pattern.
I don't see the drain plug or hole in the floor drop-off, but that may be photo angle.

Based on Dans comments above . I'm Assuming its an original super performance axle pkg car. which has power disc brakes as part of the pkg. ( like I said Im not a guru with Lynch rd tags ) Otherwise drum brakes were std equip

The added hood stripes, painted underside and upgraded interior would be a bonus to me personally.

The listing states all original sheetmetal so IMO that needs verified in person . Even then,,,, At the opening bid amount I still think the car is a really good buy unless something stands out on an in person inspection.. But odds are this car will exceed the opening bid by quite a bit before its over

How difficult to bring it back to power front disc's to OEM, not aftermarket?

I think you could gather the parts for ~$2,500 - I believe "useable" rotors are difficult, or is there a current aftermarket solution?

HEMI Specific; booster, master cylinder, lines & AIR GRABBER bellows
'68-'69 B-body disc brake Specific: spindles, brackets, hoses, calipers, rotors, fasteners

some parts are available aftermarket, rebuilt, or "clone" parts - it just depends how CORRECT you want it

Agreed,
The hard part is going to be the Hemi specific booster and its unique firewall attaching brackets and the rotor hats themselves. Booster Dewey can modify a non hemi booster to replicate the hemi one . And I 'THINK' the hemi only booster attaching brackets are/were avail reproduction. But dont hold me to that .
The calipers, spindles and rotor hubs are not to terrible to find. Not at every swap meet mind you, but a long way from impossible to locate

master cylinder may be a little tough , , but will take shaking some trees to find it , IF you have to have the hemi only casting #

The boot for the drivers side under hood air duct is/was being reproduced.

master cylinder

Good info...thanks.
What surprises me is that with all the $$ spent on the resto that this was not done. Just odd.

I’ve got the proper brackets, booster, and correct dated master cly for a hemi. I have it kind of committed to a customer, but I have not figured out a price yet. The last one I saw restored was advertised on Moparts for $2500, I think. It did not include the master. My setup is really for an e body and the flat rod to the pedal is too long so I may have to find that in reproduction. I know a guy that has complete brake setup but I’m not sure what condition it’s in. I heard they just started making the rotors again but they are not exact.

The "RamMan" was the guy doing the Hemi duct work boots that came on all Hemi cars regardless of brake configuration.

That is a nice green RR...but out of my price range unfortunantley. I was seriously thinking about the blue hemi on eBay but there's no history on the car...no idea what was done on the resto, no paperwork and things that should have been corrected were not. Its a beautiful car but for that much money, I need more info.

This car has been for sale for quite a while. It looks like at a minimum the passenger side quarter panel and trunk extension have been replaced.
