6PAX OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,606 Detroit area	I picked up a couple of 1969 big block 727 transmissions recently. I was wondering if there is a way of telling what type of car they came out of. They are both part number 2892093. One has a build date of Feb 69 and the other June 69. They don't have the full vin on them, just the last 8 digits which are 9A230525 and 9A300673. So if the A is for Lynch Road, does anyone know what models were being built there at the time of those dates or what they are most likely from?
