Hello everyone. I have a 1970 challenger RT 440+6 4-speed super track pack. All #s matching 42k mile survivor. Its been in storage since 1979 and I was on FB E-body group when someone inquired about prodection numbers and said the members on here had a lot of knowledge and some knew how to break down numbers beyond the 847 R/T 440+6 manuals. Its F8 green on green with factory disc brakes. I attached a pic of my fender tag. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

There is no way to get a specific 'one of ?" number based on combinations of options.

It looks like you have a nice Challenger. The word Survivor gets tossed around a lot these days and it seems that the people who use it pertaining to their car all have their own idea of what it is. A survivor does not have a freshly painted motor, non-Chrysler or after market brake booster and master cylinder along with the wrong distributor or Mopar Performance electronic ignition kit. Cars like this can still be mostly original, as in over 50% but not a true Survivor.

I drive it daily. I have my original booster and ignition. Made it better for driving. Rebuilding an engine would still qualify as a survivor. I built to factory specs. All original paint except engine bay. I had to because it was too chewed up. The torque of this engine with the 4.10 would tear it apart after a few years of driving. Nothing else has been changed, metal, paint, interior, drivetrain, nothing. Not sure why u think a survivor cant have a rebuilt # matching engine. But doesn't matter I guess. Thanks for your input though. Everything will get switched back if and when I decide to sell my "survivor" 😁😁😁 As of now, I got the baby seat in the back and headed up north to the apple orchard. Family is picking a bunch of stuff.

Survivor
True Survivor
Documented Survivor
Garage Survivor
Driven Survivor
yada yada

I'd consider it a Survivor if it's been stored since 78.

You say Potato I say Patato!

To even break it down wrt Color/6-pk/4-spd; you have to take known published breakdowns & do some extrapolating of your own.
6-spks & Dana get grouped.
Then can go further wrt disc brakes.
Painted or Vinyl.
Even further: Radio type
And so forth.

You can break down the 847 further, but won't be "accepted" by many whom insist on published Chrysler documentation only.
Would it really matter if you took it down to 1/747 1/647 so on.
I'm sure if you "fiddled" with #'s long enough, you could arrive at 1/0; never built.

Great car!

Continue to have fun with it and blowing the minds of the MI locals as you drive it.

Also don't worry about the survivor tag - everyone defines it differently so it really doesn't really matter.

Enjoy your car. PERIOD!
