as title says. Have 01 Durango w/a 5.9 I need a computer for. Anyone here have dealings with the computer exchange place that advertises at top of the page here on our site? have been bitten by others before. Once on this very vehicle.

yup. I have. I don't really want a Cardone reman (what all the parts stores have)
I went and got one from an identical truck at a boneyard and had to send it in to get the VIN reprogrammed (D@mn SKIM security BS, only vehicle I have ever owned with that, hope to never again) and it is messed up in different ways from the original which this company (NOT the one I asked about) has had and fixed/found issue with twice. I have to get this vehicle on the road again, been thru everything multiple times, others have looked at it, no doubt its the computer/ so I want one from someone I can trust...…. NOT wanting to get into the (way too long) story again.
just need to know if anyone here has had experience with that company, before I spend my money there.

Got one at the dealership for my '02 Dakota. It was still under warranty then but maybe they still stock the part.

I was referring to a shop that redoes the ECMs for the dealerships and repair shops in town. We have a place in town that reprograms them in one day. All they need is the old ECM and the cars VIN. You might check with a shop that could refer you to someone.

I don't know which company you are referring to, but I needed a PCM for my 2000 Durango when I bought it. Ordered one from the place in Florida. First one worked exactly ONE time. Second one had the wrong emissions program. Third one lasted a year. The one they sent me that time has now gone about seven years. Lifetime warranty, though.

they are at the top of the main page. Car Computer exchange.com. any dealings? Good or bad? they advertise $199 but when I put in MY application (o1 Durango 5.9, Federal) they are $299... Bait and switch? Not sure.

I've bought several from Flag Ship One, out of florida for our shop. takes a week or so to get but good prices and no problems so far.
