Anyone care to share pictures of their aftermarket stereo install?

Looking to install a FM radio in the '69 Roadrunner (under dash) and am looking for some ideas.

If you already have an AM radio you could get one of these and hide it under the edge of the dash. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Audiovox-am-to-FM-converter/264479178730?

I've never seen one of those. Looks like you just provide power and plug it into the antenna port.

I do have the AM radio in the car, I'll have to look and see if someone still make these. Might be an option.

Still would like to see what others have done.

i bought a bunch of those audiovox units when they came out. those things worked great ! up
easy to hide almost anywhere, and was a vast improvement over AM.
i think i still have one or two of those somewhere in my "stuff".

Those are cheap on Ebay and there is a bunch of them for sale. You just supply 12v and plug your antenna into it and it's antenna into your Am radio and you got FM. I think you have to tune into a place on your AM with no station on it.

correct. i "think" it's somewhere around 1400. then, with the converter on, tweak the dial for the best [loudest] reception.

Yeah, the FM converter deal...I'd forgotten about those, had one back in the day.
I think it was 1310 you tuned to.
Worked pretty well, though not quite the concert hall experience...

Yep, ran one on my 69 SuperBee for many years. Never a problem.

I have an under dash f.m. converter as mentioned above, sitting on the shelf.
When I was using it, I just used a flat chunk of sheet metal and bent it to fit the tuner. Dropped a couple screws through the bottom of the dash and that was that. shruggy
Uses the stock a.m. radio for an amp so not the greatest sound as others have said.
Sure did dig not being stuck with am. grin
Had this one in my 68 Coronete 500 and the 68 Fury for many many years.
