I am contemplating adding a set of factory 15 inch rallye rims to my '71 Challenger, which currently has 14 inch rallyes. Is there any reason that the 15 inch wouldn't fit? Fenders, etc?

Thanks!

None at all unless you go with very wide 15's, the fenders & quarters are the same.

You may need to change your speedometer pinion gear so your speedometer reads correctly though. The overall tire diameter on the rear tires can change that.

Thank you! That is good to know. IIRC, the tire height on the 14 inch is 24.5 inches, and the 15 inch is 26 inches. Hopefully my current torsion bar adjustment will handle the height, or else I'll need an adjustment/alignment. Hopefully the inch an a half won't affect it...

the wheels will fit, but there is a difference in fenders. just sayin.
the (Jan./72) 1970-71 Parts Catalog shows (3 sets of 70-71 fenders):

70 J, except w/F60x15 tire 3419 878/879 - '70 Parts Catalog "except 6.00 x 15 tires"
70 & 71 J, w/F60x15 tire 3579 380/381 - '70 Parts Catalog "w/6.00 x 15 tires"
J, Trans Am, w/F60x14 tire 3579 624/625

26" tall on 15" rims will fit easy. I now have 28 on the front and back of my cuda.

Here's a picture with factory rallye's 15" and F60-15 and the new larger tires.

275-60/15 will fit on the rear, and 235-60/15 will fit just fine. I have used those tire sizes on several Challengers with 15" Rallyes, and had no problems.
