Wonder if the 1.38 was tripped w/ the back tires? That would be about right...a high 1.2x sixty foot.

Yep, about a tenth in a 9 sec car. Probably 1.26-1.28 real sixty foot

Probably, I didn't think about that.

That run was a thing of beauty.

Motor is just singing.

I’m surprised at how much time he has between gears.

It would be nice to know what the shift RPM and RPM drop is on each gear change work
it sounds like it is singing up grin
Looking at the second in car video it looks like to me the front tires came down way past the 60 Ft. clocks confused shruggy

According to my eyesight and playing the video in slo mo he leaves at 7200RPM, shifts at 9100RPM fan, drops to 7100 and winds it out to 9000-ish again.
Goes through the traps @8000RPM.

That was also on Day 5 after 750 miles of street driving and racing 4 other days. Impressive for sure.

The engine he is using was designed to run 5-6 hundred miles at over 9000 rpm. Seems to love the stick. I think it a fun x2 car. Fun to watch and fun to drive. One fine drag week car.
