When did Mo Mopar start using K members? I know that on my 61 Lancerwagon it didn’t have a K member and that the steering box mounted on the frame. I do know that the 63 A bodies had a K member.

Hmmmmmmm....
That is a good trivia question for the next club meeting.
I thought the A-Body cars all had K members. Maybe the 1960-62 cars were not technically considered and A body yet?
I haven't had much interest in the A-Body cars built before 1967 because of their styling. THis is an interesting question though.

I believe the origin of the K-member (a removable crossmember shaped like a K) began with the '62 B-body.

I had a 61 Lancer wagon. I distinctly remember the steering box being bolted to the inside of the subframe and it didn’t have a removable K frame
