I lazily had someone else replace my water pump a while ago, and just now noticed that the fan was replaced as well. Also noticed that there is, literally, now only about 3/16" clearance between the blades and the top radiator hose. :-o so.. what size (non-clutch) fan do I need, and any clue where to find one? Thanks!

EDIT: If it matters, this is in a '68 Satellite, and was using the OE fan that had been on the 318 that I replaced with the 360.

May I ask why you do not want to run a clutch fan? The MP viscous clutch fan is a good unit.

If memory serves, the original fans were 17-18" diameter depending on application.
Not sure what they put on there, but it also sounds like you don't have a fan shroud ?

RE: fan clutch... No particular reason, it just never had one... Is it worth getting? Any issues replacing it?
