I have several early 23 spline NP833 iron cases with a bunch of spare gears and parts that I'm getting ready to put back together to sale after having them sit in the shelfs for way to many years
I was told that one of the cases is from a 1970 E body tranny that was on a car from the L.A plant,. It has the small 307 front bearing with the numbers PP833 3020 OE 125609 hand stamp on the top of the pad on the passenger side with 0225 hand stamped under the last four numbers on the top line
The other case has the larger 308 front bearing with the numbers 9E146088 hand stamp on the top line with PP833 2772 0299 hand stamp on the second line
All help and references to how to decode them is greatly appreciated
I think knowing what they came out of originally might help some people decide which one they want
Thanks: Cab
