My Garage roof had started leaking

and my drywall popcorn ceiling had leaked on to my cars paint

and now it is dry

( I washed the car)

the paint is stained with some residue from the drywall

what is the best way to clean this ?

Thanks : )

I'd try Meguiars Swirl Remover.

If a regular wash doesnt remove it, the next more aggressive, yet gentle approach i would try is clay bar. It works great for removing everyday contaminants from the paint. Then i would move to a real polish with a machine
