Is there anything specific parts wise when changing from power to manual steering on a 1965 c body? (1965 Newport). I think the manual steering boxes are different for c bodies?

The shaft on the column will have to be lengthened . I think there is a kit to do that.

Not on a 65 C body.

I don't know if the steering box side column shaft is different or not, but the pitman arm is different between the 2. I have extra new pitman arms and a spare 65 C body manual box if you are interested. The boxes are C body specific.
