Hi all,

I am looking to buy a car with a Dana 60. It currently is running a mini spool with 3:45 gears, I am not to keen to running that on the street. What do I all need to convert it to a limited slip Sure Grip set up?

Thanks!

Something like this. Probably some other smaller bits but I can't help with that. Dr. Diff is one of several other sources if you can't find one locally.

Definitely check the backlash BEFORE you disassenble it to remove the mini spool and return it to that lash. It may be looser than the original range when first set up due to wear....

Did you mean 3.54 gears? What ratio will you want?
You will need to know what gear ratio you are going to use and what spline your axles have before you look for a suregrip.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
