More bad news from the salt flats Lee Sicillo’s Daytona clone spun out of control at approximately 291mph, we believe he is okay.

Damn. The salt looks kinda wet, I heard SCTA postponed running earlier in the month. I think that is engine oil. We just got our first rain in a month last week... I actually own land on the other-side of that mountain on the far end, got 95 acres.

The salt was dry and hard, in contrast to Speed Week at couple weeks ago. On the same day Rob Freyvogel also crashed his Carbiliner at 390+ mph... and ended up in hospital.
Wishing both of them a full and speedy recovery!
