JDMopar master J Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 8,478 Candler,NC / Myrtle Beach, SC	In my personal experience, the best exchange for a 7 1/4 is from the car to the scrap pile....lol. Just swap the whole thing out, housing, brakes and all, even though that's more trouble. PB Blaster is your friend on the spindly little u bolts.

RapidRobert OP Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,040 Lincoln Nebraska	We raced on it (4:10 welded spiders) to save 100 (iirc) lbs of unsprung over an 8&3/4 & it held up well till the car was wrecked & broke an axle & yes the wreck broke the axle (& more) not the other way around. A consideration was to switch to SBP if that would ease my search for a replacement as I have SBP rims available. With no interchange I will continue searching for a BBP replacement axle. If you're not in a big hurry I can ship you a pair of axles. I won't be able to get down to my shop for a couple weeks because of work. "Everybody funny, now you funny too."
