Im installing a 6.4 with the TR6060 into a 70 B body. Ok....nothing new here....but like all other transplants of this type I have to install the mid sump oil pan, Nothing new there either.....BUT....what have other people done about the dust cover needed in front of the Trans (TR6060) that is missing when you take the factory oil pan off the engine. AND ….has anyone considered the structural support needed to be installed between the TR6060 and the block...…...That was removed when the factory oil pan was removed?

I know what you mean , i have a 6.2 with a truck oil pan and 6 speed and its holding up fine but more support would be better.

I too ran one with a truck oil pan and no support. Originally with the factory bellhousing and now with a quicktime. No issues. Lots of miles and passes.

the 408 (G3) that's in 2010 Challenger has had 15k put on it with out the "stock pan support" mid 10sec street car since I bought it 2 years ago now, before that it had 55k put on the old 383 5.7 stroker since 2011 run mid to low 12s all that time.
